The outside “teeth” bent slightly using the tool. Great idea, but a stronger grade of steel would be beneficial.

I’ll start out with the negative. When you twist the fence wire, you suck with no dexterity, have bad eyes, and there are weeds, if you of drop it good luck finding it. Which means I’ m glad they sent two. When I don’t drop it, it works quick and fast. I like it better than pliers by far. So five stars for the tool, zero stars for me. Curse words were spoken.

This product saved a tremendous amount of time of installing clips to attach hog panel to T posts for our temporary fence system!
Something to note, is that it does take an adjustment on figuring out how to use the tool. Once you get going, you’re rocking and rolling until the job’s done!

There probably isnt anything worse to do on the ranch than fixing/building fence! The worst part of that is putting on these clips. Since I’m mainly the free help, I get stick with this job. If you have to clip a long stretch 9f fence, it doesnt take long to play out. This little ingenious tool makes the job easier and takes the pressure off your wrist! Awesome! Almost makes the job fun (no on said ever)!

Ran a 125′ woven wire cross fence with a gate, terminated to post on either end. Wore this wire twister out. The type of fence being used will influence the utility of this tool. I used it a 2″x4″ woven wire horse fence, and it worked ‘okay’. 2″ was very often too small of gap to let this tool work as designed. I ended up grinding down one side of the tool so it would fit the gap. I received two tools, and both are pretty wore out. It’s the ears that bend and wear. Overall, valuable tool that in spite of their limitations were value added. I used them to twist up to 12 gauge wire. This tool is listed as being designed for T-Post clips…yeah, no, tried using it for that purpose but found a simple screw driver was far superior. It worked really well terminating the wire tips around the end posts.

I gave it 4 stars because I guess some people really like these style things. The product is good quality in terms of what it should be.
I find my mini screwdriver and pliers to be faster/easier. But what I do like is these are good cheap tools to toss in just about anything you might find yourself near fence work with. In case you run out for a quick repair or can’t find something else.
So I’ll probably always have a couple on hand.
