I’ve tried other seed mixes for my daughter’s two budgies, but they really love the Wild Harvest WH-83540 Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Diet seeds. They seem more active when we feed them this seed, which has more nutrients in it. Plus, it comes in a resealable tub so the seed stays fresh.

The bird seed itself is great but this time I opened the box and it was split all in the bottom of the box. Please tape the lid closed before shipment so this doesn’t happen again

It’s smelly. I was under the impression it had fruits and veggies in it, which it does not, this was a disappointment. Some of the seeds seems rather large for parakeets, but I will see how mine do with it. They added yellow and blue food coloring for some reason to parts of this feed, which I see no purpose in. I also question the quality of the grain as I have concerns about pesticides used on crops. The packaging was well done however I did transfer into a glass bowl with a tight lid that I keep refrigerated and pull one pint at a time that I keep buy my birdcage. I felt like this would keep the feed fresh and maybe prevent bugs as some people in these reviews have complained about. It’s my first try for this food and I will make a fruit and veggie supplement myself as I give it a try. I may or may not order again I have to see how my birds will do and how I feel overall after a couple of weeks.
05/16 update
My parakeets don’t care for this feed. Many pieces are just too large. It smells and there are no fruits or veggies in it. They are always anxious to get to their food every morning but not with this food. They jumped around back and forth not even wanting to go to their food bowl. I won’t purchase this again.

when i was looking for food for my adult parakeet i came across this nutrition food, i was skeptical at first because all the reviews had complained about how the food came with bugs and how the food had come open while in transit but that wasn’t the issue with the food i received, have been using it for the past 3 weeks and no bugs and the food came perfectly sealed. overall its a really good food for parakeets, i highly recommend it!! my parakeet loves it!! 10/10
