Tennessee –
Works well for keeping food OR water available for ducklings/chicks while keeping them from getting into it. I like the plastic, it’s easy to clean.

they work, but very hard to snap shut and once shut, very hard to re-open. I now just make a huge mess filling them and getting feed all over the place. I dump out every few days and clean, it takes a bit to air dry since opening it is out of the question. The baby birds love climbing on it and poop on it, they scratch and toss pine chips in the holes, but it works, and they get fed.
Geri –
These are a lot smaller than the ones at Tractor Supply and more expensive.

but they work okay for what i wanted them for. thankfully the tops came off or it would have been an issue. i got them for my cats… i have a couple that tend to be pushy eaters and my two older cats were getting bullied out of their bowls. these trays actually help with that… when the “kids” start pushing, the older gals just slide on down to the other end of the tray.
~both “kids” are rescues and came from a life where they weren’t sure how much they would have to eat. they’re getting better about it though. but in the mean time, i wanted everybody to have a calmer dinner time.~

We use these for our chickens. Our turkeys didn’t like them. But we were able to take the lid off and they will eat out of that without a problem. Who know? Birds are weird. Good quality material.
