| Directions | For use with Drinking Water: Use a sanitary bottle instead of an open dish which can be easily contaminated. Add 2 drops to each ounce of drinking water (i.e. 32 drops per 16 ounce water bottle.) Change water daily since Vitamin C is quickly oxidized, especially when exposed to sunlight. For use with Food: Randomly scatter 8 drops of Vita-Drops directly onto the surface of the daily food ration. Check to be sure the Vitaminized feed has been consumed in 24 hours. If the guinea pig refuses to eat the fortified food, feed the usually plain diet for 3 days and try again. Guinea pigs have good appetites, and usually accept the new feed mixture immediately. It is very important that guinea pigs not go without food by refusing the fortified feed. |

Guinea pigs don’t make vitamin C, so you have to give it to them to keep them healthy

The bottle arrived in its original cardboard plastic packaging. It matches the photo exactly as advertised.
In the past, I found that with this brand of vita drops, it used to clump overtime around the nozzle however this one came without any clumps or residue which is great.
Would recommend to guinea pig owners who need vitamin c for their piggie, its easy to use.
Just make sure to follow the instructions at the back since a lot of owners would overdose their piggies water with vitamin C.

Not a fan of this having yellow dye. If it’s supposed to be healthy for my Guinea pig, I wouldn’t think any kind of dye is healthy.

The drops are good, they havent killed my guinea pigs. I obviously havent tasted them but there is a taste rating catagory so i gave them 5 stars cause my guinea pigs still drink the water. Overall im satisfied and will be buying more

If you can’t get your guinea pig to eat the Oxbow Vitamin C wafers even after breaking them up into pieces, add this directly to their veggies. They like it and it gets them the much needed Vitamin C they need to stay healthy. Don’t add it to their water. It dilutes it too much and will be gone before they actually drink it. Just add some drops directly to their veggies daily.
