This packaging is amazing! There is so much stuffed inside! It’s a little difficult to break it apart initially, but WOW, once you do, you’ll be very happy with the amount of shavings! Completely worth the price!!!

This photo is from several months after first placing into the nesting boxes. Smells good and the chickens seem to be fine with it. They haven’t scratched it all out of the boxes which they tend to do with other types of bedding. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

I used to use these wood shavings in my python enclosures, and they (the shavings) performed extremely well. No pythons now, but I’ve found the chickens I help care for enjoy them. I’ve laid a bed of shavings under an evergreen tree which provides overhead shelter. The shavings, mixed with dry leaves from some other trees gives ‘the girls’ a place to sit during the day, and still stay warm. Very little dust, no strong smell either. Highly recommend.

I love that it’s light, cheap and lasts forever. The chickens lay way more eggs when these chips are in their nesting box. I can fill up over 20 nesting boxes several times before it runs out . It’s easy to grab a handful and fill an entire nesting box up. I also enjoy the smell of it!

Like the product, pricey when you can get this at the feed store. Triple the amount for this price

I purchased this product with another that was the same price and like information their were two differences to compare. This one had a couple long thick stick like pieces and by far had more product jammed into its little bag, 3-4 times the amount as the other. While the competitors had more uniform shreds it didn’t have even close the amount of product. While the competitors was approximately half the price it had about a quarter of the product so by far this was the best priced.
