If you have a garden hose with a connector like the one in the picture, you will need this repair. This new hose leaked from day one. These repair parts quickly fixed my problem. I just cut off the end of the hose and screwed on the new male connector. No more leaks. Also, the threaded part is long enough that you can screw down various sprayers without having to use two gaskets. The metal clamp is nice and smooth and works better than a screw-clamp.

The hose I use for a sump pump in my barn had been damaged by rodents. I either had to replace the hose, which would have taken a couple of hours, or fix it. With this kit I was able to cut out the affected parts and now the hose is leak free just in time for all the spring rains!
