My little Serama hens, who are indoor chickens, eagerly ask for their “buggies” each morning. (We call it their breakfast.) They have premium layer feed available at all times in a dish in their coop, but they get a small handful of the Chicken Fun-Doo sprinkled in their coop when we wake up each morning. If we forget (or need to use the bathroom first!) they call out and complain until we get them their breakfast. They they’re happy and content! They devour every morsel of this mixture, but of course the mealworms first. 🙂

Bought one 3 lb bag and immediately ordered the 5lb, and will continue to use this company. I use this to supplement my chicken’s daily feed. They absolutely love it, and it is filled with good things for them, adding additional protein and calcium. While my flock does get outdoors to range on grass and bugs, I think this product does a great job at supplying additional nutrients while giving my chickens something new to scratch at each day.
I mix this product with grubs and grains to make my own personal “chicken crack”, but it is fantastic on its own also.
Thanks to the company for providing a great product for people who want happy, healthy birds!

My hens enjoy this immensely. They each have a favorite ingredient and go after that first. When that is gone they clean up the rest. It is fun to watch my chickens go after this. Will be purchasing again as it is a clean product with a nice even blend of ingredients. This gives my hen a bigger variety of seeds than they get in regular scratch.

Oh my word my hens go nuts for this mix! We tried another brand and my girls like it.. But this one they go nuts for! Like hen crack 😂 I’m on auto ship, but thinking we need to order it more often. I love that the girls come running as soon as they see the bag. Definitely recommend this brand!

I was excited to add some flavor to the plain old food my ducks eat, but this was a tough sell. The large chili pepper pods in the bag were a bit tricky to navigate – can ducks eat spicy food like that or was I supposed to toss them out? The variety is bright and has grubs, peas, and seeds, but my ducks were not intrigued at first. I have offered them a bit each day, and they have started eating it occasionally, but I don’t think that this was the right product for my birds. They love foraging and snacks, but I don’t know that this is what they were looking for.

They expect me to give them some every day. I have free range chickens, they even sleep in the tree. They are waiting for me every morning neat the door for their treat. If I don’t throw any down, they will follow me everywhere until they get it. I like that there is a variety of things and it doesn’t seem that they leave any of it behind.
