Dirty South Homestead –
I admit I did not have high expectations for this set upon arrival but it exceeded my expectations. If you only need it to get through 1 set of chicks it’s definitely worth it but after 4-6 weeks of wear & tear it starts to wear out a bit. For the first month I was even able to hang the waterer. It doesn’t latch closed in any way but it stayed together better than I imagined it would for those first few weeks. Also for the feeder only use finely ground crumble or it will clog.

My favorite feature of these waterers is that you can see the tabs on the bottom when putting the drinking pan on. So much easier to assemble after getting fresh water. Best aspect for sure. Good feeders too. Great for my chicken’s needs. Will buy again when my flock inevitably expands.

I was slightly disappointed when I received the order. While is is as described it is thin cheap plastic and I can tell the plastic flanges that hold the top and bottom together will be breaking to soon and the plastic is not very heavy duty. The entire units and pretty flimsy.

Great for small chicks but as they get bigger they knock the cover off the feeder and perched on top of it then poop in the feed , if the cover would be able to clip in place it would be a 5 stars!

We got these for our chick brooder as crummy grow out feeders/waterers. Overpriced… but it was fast and shipped to my door. Convenience fees I guess.
If you are looking for a hard to clean, slightly warped, leaking chicken feeder/watering set…. THIS IS FOR YOU! Mine came slightly warped, and I figured “whatever… chickens are just going to poop on it anyways”. MAN, WAS I WAS WRONG!
Trying to screw the bottom on the waterer with the palm of your hand while holding the other part (cause its not designed to sit on a counter) so its “flat” while trying not to tilt it, otherwise you get showered with water, It’s dumb. If you don’t get all three clips, it will just leak out all over the place and ruin all the bedding in your brooder. So now you have to change that too. Trying to hang it? Chicks can jump on it and dislodge the bottom since the plastic is warped and the clips come undone sending a tidal wave of water into their bedding.
The feeder just gets clogged and then they cant get food. Out of the two, its the better one if you like wasting feed just trying to unclog it.
Get a warped one? Want a refund? They want you to ship it back. Which as chicken keepers know, isn’t sanitary once its been used/in contact with livestock.
SKIP IT!
Go on youtube and find some better DIY ones. I already switched to re-purposed small plastic containers and some water cups. It’s worth it.

En general embonaron muy bien todas las partes. Me encanta el echo que la pueda colgar del gallinero (ojo: no trae cadenita o aditamentos para colgar, pero si tiene la manija de los envases para poder hacerlo) Me gusta que se puede hacer aseo muy fácil, sobre todo en el contenedor de agua.
