Great food container for our small quail birds. Easy to clip on the sides of their cages and easily refillable.

The tabs are larger than 1/2in wire so it doesn’t fit on my cages. I’ll either cut the tabs a little or drill a couple holes and hang them (I did this). They also hold less than the round feeders, without the jar on them. The cover for the food is pretty big so if my quail still push the food out I’ll cover it with 1/2 x 1 wire.
Overall I will make it work.

The only downside is the top part of the feeder once full of feed expands/ loosens and the feed will come out around the seam.

Too bad I had to give a star when I would rather give these negative 5 stars if I could.
These are terrible. The bottom always falls off as soon as you pick it up. All four are this way, so it’s not like only one had this problem. Pick one up, and it was dumping all the feed out since the bottom just drops right off.
You know those plastic Easter eggs? How they snap together? That’s how they engineered the bottom for this, but put no thought into making it tighter. I have to fight to pop open a plastic Easter egg. These feeders? Just looking at them and the bottom pops off.
I missed the return window, but I hope y’all take heed especially if you really want decent feeders. Could probably find something better at the dollar store.

Ummmm…… The chickens love these! So much easier to feed and the mess is painlessly less! I’m glad it came in a 4 pack, that way I can spread them around and the chickens are not fighting over just 1. I have 18 chickens and they are able to have room to eat!

Bought these for my quail. I like the grates as they prevent the birds from scratching all the feed out and wasting it.

I almost didn’t buy this product because someone said that the whole thing is held together just like A plastic Easter egg, but I thought no way! I got it and sure enough it has the three tabs that spin and slide under the Cut outs in the base to hold it secure. The little top part with the holes is put on like the Easter egg, But so far my month Month old, juvenile chicks, have not managed to take it apart. I like the fact that it is easy to take off so I can Any debris or poop. I don’t have to disassemble the whole entire thing. I like it because you can fill it from the top or take it apart To fill it. It is working great so far.
